英語UIの Apex Legends やチル系ゲームを遊びながら、気になった英単語やフレーズをゆるっとまとめています。
もともと英語は得意ではなかったけれど、ゲームの中で自然に出てくる英語にふれるうちに「勉強」より「発見」に近い感覚が生まれてきて。
知らない単語を調べてみたり、キャラクターのセリフを聞き取れた瞬間にちょっと嬉しくなったり——
そんな小さな積み重ねが、毎日の楽しみになってます。

I’m a 51-year-old gamer from Japan who loves playing in English.
Through Apex Legends and cozy games, I collect words and phrases that catch my ear and share them here.
English hasn’t always been my strong point,
but when I started noticing the language naturally appearing in games,
it began to feel less like studying and more like discovering something new.
Looking up a word I didn’t know, catching a line of dialogue I understood—it all adds a bit of joy to my day.
This blog is for anyone who wants to learn English in a relaxed way,

🎮 英語×ゲームを選んだ理由
どうして英語とゲームを組み合わせたのかというと、「好きなことを通してなら、きっと続けられる」と思ったから。
勉強のために机に向かうより、ゲームの中で自然に英語を聞いたり読んだりする方がずっと楽しい。
わからない単語が出てきても、ストーリーや映像の流れでなんとなく理解できたり、調べてみたくなったりする——その感覚が大好き。
英語もゲームも「積み重ねることで世界が広がる」という点では似てるかなと。
だからこのブログでは、英語の学びを「プレイ」の延長として、楽しむ方法を探していきます🎮✨
Why did I choose to combine English and games?
Because I believe we keep going when we learn through what we love.
Sitting at a desk with a textbook never really worked for me,
but hearing and reading English naturally inside a game felt exciting and real.
Even when I didn’t know a word, the story and visuals helped me guess the meaning—
and sometimes I just wanted to look it up because I was curious.
Both English and gaming are about building small skills over time and expanding your world.
That’s why this blog is my way of exploring how learning English can feel like playing,
